Prices, Proto-types and Custom Designs

All prices are based on the selling price at the date of the order was received by High Tech Welding, Inc. Portable and shop rates are based on an hourly rate, plus materials. Proto-types (designed with the intent of manufacturing quantities), custom pieces, special orders and other items are available on a price per item, based on development time, dies, design tooling, setup, material type, finish and the like. These estimates will be quoted in writing prior to design for customer signature of approval.  Proto-type item quotes will include the proto-type price, plus a per item price with quantity purchased price breaks. 

Minimum Order

Wrought iron product and gift type items purchased directly by customers at the High Tech Welding, Inc. office or on-line are exempt from a minimum order and are sold at the current  price. Special order or items may be subject to a minimum order charge depending on the product or service desired and available.

Hourly Rates and Material Sales

Portable rates shall be billed at a minimum rate equal to the one-hour rate on the date of service, plus materials. All portable rates shall be inclusive of port to port travel time.

Shop rates shall be billed at minimum rate equal to 1/4 of the hourly shop rate on the date of service, plus materials.

Raw materials and supplies shall be billed at the selling prices at the date of the sale. Additions will be made for custom alterations or modifications. Minimum portable or shop rates may apply.

Payment and Credit Terms 

Net 30 days on approved open accounts from date of invoice. In addition to open accounts we accept cash, money orders and personal checks. Visa and Master Card are accepted for on-line purchases. Interest and late charges will be applied to all accounts over the 30-day invoice period. Interest will be at the current rate of 1 1/2% per month unless prior written arrangements have been made and approved by High Tech Welding, Inc.

Damaged/Lost Shipments

All orders should be checked immediately upon arrival. All damages, overages, and shortages must be noted on the delivery ticket. All delivery tickets are to be signed by the recipient signifying the delivery of an acceptable order in terms of apparent quality and number.

Returns

Except as noted in writing otherwise, no material or products will be accepted for return unless the return is related to damages, overages or specification defect or error noted on the delivery invoice or relates to any other prior arrangement. Damages, defects and the like will all be subject to a quality assurance inspection by High Tech Welding, Inc. All sales are considered final. Any materials or products being returned will not be accepted, nor credited without a copy of the delivery invoice and written return merchandise authorization from High Tech Welding, Inc.

Warranty

Except as noted in bid or proto-type specifications or writing otherwise, High Tech Welding, Inc. makes no warranties, expressed or implied, of performance, merchantability, workmanship, quality, durability, or suitability, including those instances where changes, alterations, or modifications are made in materials at the request or instruction of the purchaser. Our obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts or refund of the purchase price all at our sole option. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall we be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages of any nature.

Responsibility

The value of the defective product or material sent or sold in error is our only liability. We do not warrant or represent that the product complies with the provisions of any law, particularly the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, and regulations promulgated hereunder.
